Any amount contributes to the fight against hunger and child malnutrition in the Philippines.

Since 2016, Love Food Give Food has united people with a love of food to be part of the movement to end hunger. previously known as ‘Restaurants Against Hunger, the goal is to ignite the active participation of food establishments and food lovers to stop the upward trend of extreme hunger: malnutrition.

HOW IT WORKS

From October 1 to December 1, hundreds of food establishments will be raising funds for Action Against Hunger in two ways:

LOVE FOOD?

Don’t have a food business but want to participate and raise funds?
Be a consumer and order the Charity Dishes of our partners, or voluntarily donate!

Spearheaded by renowned chefs in the Philippines, the #100for5 is a challenge to create a nutritious and delicious meal for 5 people while costing only 100 pesos.

The average family monthly income is estimated at 22.000 PHP and 41.5% of it is spent on food. This is based on the 2015 Family Income and Expenditure Survey of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

This equates to 300 PHP daily, or 100 PHP per meal.

WE ARE INVITING EVERYONE TO TAKE ON THE CHALLENGE AND SHARE YOUR RECIPES!

The submitted recipes will be shared with our beneficiaries during the health, hygiene and sanitation promotion sessions that we conduct in all our projects.

Race Against Hunger is a international campaign that taps into the vast potential of youth to become powerful agents of change.

This initiative allows young people to gain a more meaningful perspective on the global problem of malnutrition, understand their interconnectedness to the world, and ultimately join the fight against hunger.

The school will not incur cost for this campaign. Action Against Hunger will give you the necessary tools to organize the event. We will assist you throughout the process.
